Each photo on the perimeter of this composition represents commonly found pollutants that pose some of the largest threats to our oceans ecosystems. These include chemical fertilizers, plasticides (nurdles), glass, discarded fishing net, oil, effects of ocean acidification, and overfishing. The middle photo represents a pristine, clean ocean that we are working to get back to.
