My name is Marina. I am 28, and am a self-taught abstract artist from Metro Detroit. I love animals and nature, the ocean, and all things cute and fun.
Since I was a little kid, I was intrigued by the sea. Maybe it was because I loved the water and swimming at a young age, or because I thought all marine animals were fascinating and otherworldly. Either way, I quickly became Michigan’s biggest and youngest ocean lover.
I now reside in Columbus, Ohio, and am still as deeply committed to the world’s oceans. I believe that they are the ultimate source of power that connects all living things. I am inspired by their magnificence, and feel a sense of obligation to share my love, while spreading awareness to try and protect their beauty. Through my work, I hope that my admiration and respect for the oceans and the Earth are apparent in each piece.
